A friend asked me once why I made "song pages" cause they seemed like a waste of time to her. I make
them
as a hobby and also cause
every page reminds me of something or someone special.
| |
| |
All the pages have lyrics scrolling on them and if the words scroll too fast, you can stop them by
putting your mouse on them or you
can pause the music to let the words catch up. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

*Disclaimer* I am not a 'putergeek. This stuff is just what works for me.
Just like a car, your PC will run faster and perform better when you do regular maintenance on it. A
couple of things I try to do every day is to clear my browser's
cache
and clean my disk using the "Disk Cleanup" tool. I also try to defrag at least once a month using the "Disk Defragmenter"
tool.
Every PC needs a good anti-virus program. I use the
free version of AVG Anti-Virus. I have
never
had a problem with it and it's good, convenient to use and you can't beat the price. :-)
Remember, you only need one good anti-virus program
and one firewall. If you have two of either one, they may interfere with each other and make your PC less
secure.
To combat the spyware out there that will cripple
your PC, two of the best programs I have ever seen are the free versions of Ad-Aware and
Spybot. It seems to me that they target
different 'bad guys' so they complement each other very well.
"Malware" stands for "malicious software" and
they can slow your PC down too. To fight these bad guys I use the free versions of A-Squared and AVG Anti-Spyware. They also
complement
each other very well and very reasonably priced. :-)
You would be surprised at all the crap that gets
left
behind when you un-install programs or at how much crap accumulates on your PC during normal use. Things
like broken links, browsing history, temp files, etc. So how do you get rid of all the crap before your
spouse finds out you've been to a midget porn site? :-) With the fast and easy to use Crap Cleaner of course.
One thing a lot of folks don't know is that it
is
very important that you update your anti-virus and anti-spyware programs every time you use them. Find out
why
here. Also either check often
for Microsoft Windows updates or make sure you get the automatic ones. Learn more about these important
updates.
Say you got the best antivirus program and the
latest updates but your PC starts acting screwy and you suspect your spouse has been to a midget porn site
and you think you may have a virus. How do you find out for sure? The best virus scanner I know of is the
"Symantec Security Check". You can Google that and click "I Feel Lucky" and it will begin or you can learn
more about it
here.
"What is a rootkit and how they heck do I find them
if they are in my PC?", you may be asking yourself. I am glad you asked that! :-) The answer of course is
the Panda
Activescan. And if it
finds a virus on your PC it will remove it for free!
Another thing a lot of people don't know is that you
can
clear your Java cache too. It should help speed up loading sites that use java applets like Yahoo games
and Pogo.
Two very good sites to download some good stuff are
C/NET and Filehippo
Let's say you can't resist going to your fav midget porn site but every time you go there, you pick
up trojans, browser hijackers, etc. and you have to get rid of them before your spouse finds out you went
back to that site. What would you do? If you don't have time to take your PC to the shop, just go to Trend
Micro and get a
Housecall. pheww :-)

Hi and welcome to my little spot
on the world wide web. My main hobby nowadays is learning HTML and I thought I would try and design a site
so that my online friends can get to know me and also so my family can stop in and see what I am up to now
lol.
I play a lot of pool in Yahoo! games
and I have met some of the best people from all over the world playing in leagues there. I am in one of the
best of them now called
spiritwalker.
While playing a game we all enjoy, we also share our lives and our ups and downs and we laugh a lot and it's just all good
clean fun. We play in Intermediate Lounge "Patience" and if you want to
join us, it is free and easy to do. This is a new league we are starting and we would love to have you help us grow
cause
in leagues, the old saying, "the more the merrier" is never more true.
I also play a lot of "literati" in the intermediates lounges in Yahoo! games. It is a game just like scrabble except it is
a
higher scoring and much more fun version. I used to be in several different 'lit' leagues and I made a little page to help
'newbies' learn the board and some of the strategy that will improve their game. If you are interested in it, check out
these
game tips from a very handsome
fella (hehe) :-) that might help.

My name is Terry and I am 48 years
young. I am single and live alone in South Carolina. The trouble with living alone for 12 years is that all
the hard work my ex put in 'smoothing my rough edges' has worn off and now I am a wee bit ornery and a
little hard to live with. :-) I do like meeting new people online (and offline) and having fun and joking
around so even though I am "alone", I am very rarely "lonesome".
I thank God continuously for the many blessings He has given me and maybe the greatest one is the lifelong
friendship I have had with my baby sister. Recently she moved to Florida and I miss her and her family more
than I ever thought I would but she still calls me to argue over which of us has the bluest eyes so the
miles don't seem so far. My ma lives close and so do my older brothers and sisters and I love them all
dearly.
I enjoy visiting friends and family and having them visit me. I like puttering around in the yard or just
sitting on the porch in the cool of an early morning listening to the birds chirping and knowing that God
is alive and well and on His throne and watching the wacky goings on in the evenings around my 'hood. I also
like to go fishing and being on the water and I love to travel too. I am hoping in the next year or so, to
be able to afford a fun road trip.
One thing a lot of people do not know about me is that my personal relationship with Jesus Christ is the
most important thing in my life. I know there are some people who will be quick to point out the times I
have "falling short of the glory" but I have never claimed to be perfect and I am very grateful that my
Lord
Jesus is sitting on the right hand of the most high God interceding on my behalf right now and will
continue
to do so until His second coming. One of my fav preachers is
Pastor John Hagee and I found a page on his site that lists
his beliefs and I realized I could not have presented
my own beliefs any better so
I
"borrowed" them to share with you and if you would like to discuss them or know more about them, please do
not hesitate to contact me.
My pa died on Wednesday, August 15, 2007 and it saddened me greatly cause pa was a good man and I will miss him terribly.
But
have no doubts that I am at peace with his passing cause pa did believe (and taught us to believe) in the power of the
blood
of Christ that was shed at Calvary. When pa walked through the shadow of the valley of death, there was no sting and the
grave had no victory cause the mighty God of Israel was with him and gave him the victory over death and the grave and pa
right now is in Heaven rejoicing with his Lord, Jesus the Annointed One, the Lamb of God who is worthy to be praised. Pa
ran
his race, he fought the good fight of faith and pa finished his course. Praise, glory and honor to God the Father and to
my
Lord Jesus Christ.

I was thinking I should put up a few pages just to alert folks about some of the stuff that is on the
internet nowadays. Like this first site, someone could use it to steal your identity. It is just unbelievable!
The Man's Keyboard
A few days ago I was having some work done at my local garage. A blonde came in and asked for a seven-hundred-ten. We all
looked at each other and another customer asked, "What is a seven-hundred-ten?"
She replied, "You know, the little piece in the middle of the engine, I have lost it and need a new one.."
She replied that she did not know exactly what it was, but this piece had always been there.
The mechanic gave her a piece of paper and a pen and asked her to draw what the piece looked like.
She drew a circle and in the middle of it wrote 710. He then took her over to another car which had its hood up and asked
"is
there a 710 on this car?"
She pointed and said, "Of course, it's right there."
If you're not sure what a 710 is Click Here
A police officer sent this to my friend. It is not for the faint of heart.
If you have a weak stomach, then don't look at this URL. It is a
picture of the demise of a suicide jumper taken shortly after
he landed. It shows him with his insides now on the outside.
You will see the look of horror on the faces of the bystanders.
The look on the faces of the bystanders is why I believe this
is real...Jumper
